Alesia Yvonne Kimble

Alesia Yvonne Kimble unexpectedly passed away on February 26, 2026, in
Norristown, Pennsylvania.  She was born on January 8, 1962, in Tacoma,
Washington, to the late James Earl Huckaby and Betty Flanagan Haywood.  
Alesia was raised in Abilene, Texas, where she developed a strong foundation
rooted in faith, education, and service—principles that shaped her life and
character.  She later moved with her family to the Dallas-Fort Worth area, where
she graduated from Lamar High School in 1980.  
In 1984, Alesia began a distinguished and devoted career with the Internal
Revenue Service.  For more than four decades, she served faithfully as a
Customer Service Representative, exemplifying professionalism, dedication, and
pride in public service.  Known for her strong work ethic and commitment to
excellence, Alesia was eagerly looking forward to her well-earned retirement,
planned for December 2026.
Alesia truly loved people and treasured time spent with family and friends.  She
found joy in heartfelt conversations, shared laughter, playing dominoes, watching
a good movie, and dining out.  These simple yet meaningful moments brought
her happiness and created lasting memories for all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents James Earl Huckaby and Betty
Flanagan Haywood, her sister, LaTonya Huckaby, her nephew Cravadias Ferebee,
and brother-in-law, Albert Kitchen.  
Alesia leaves behind a beautiful 30-year legacy of love to be cherished by her
husband, Donald Kimble; her son Bruce Powell, Jr.; her daughter, Amber
Bridgewater; and her sisters, Felecia Higginbottom (Thomas) of Beaufort, South
Carolina, Ja’Nean Callahan of Glenn Heights, Texas, and Re Sjahn Mathis (Milton)
of Fisher, Indiana.  She also leaves her grandchildren, Tia Powell of Jackson,
Mississippi and Bruce Powell, III of Glenn Heights, Texas; her great-grand
daughter, Ava Powell of Glenn Heights, Texas; and her lifelong friends, Ethel “Ike”
Jackson, of Fort Worth, Texas and Stephanie Conaway, of Katy, Texas; along with
many other relatives and friends.
